Invisalign Lite

Invisalign Lite can treat patients with minor orthodontic problems

Invisalign Lite aims to treat simple to moderate cases in approximately 7 months, bridging the gap between Invisalign i7 and Invisalign Full.

What is Invisalign Lite?

Invisalign Lite can treat patients with minor orthodontic problems. The treatment will usually include no more than 10 transparent aligners therefore typically making the cost and treatment time less than the Invisalign Full treatment.

How is Invisalign Lite different to Invisalign Full?

Invisalign Lite braces work in much the same way as traditional Invisalign braces, however the treatment is designed for less complex cases and treatment time is usually much shorter. Patients are usually given a maximum of ten aligners, with treatment often being completed within six months.

What is Invisalign?

Developed by Align Technology together with leading orthodontists in 1997, Invisalign straightens your teeth using a series of custom-made clear, removable aligners. Invisalign transforms your smile without disrupting your life and has been used by over 2.5 million people worldwide.

What can Invisalign Lite treat?

Invisalign Lite braces are not suitable for everyone. They are generally recommended for patients who have minor orthodontic problems, including:

  • Slight overcrowding
  • Tiny gaps between the teeth
  • Badly positioned teeth
  • Poor alignment between the upper and lower teeth
How long does Invisalign Lite take?

On average, treatment with Invisalign Lite takes around 6 months.

The Benefits of Invisalign

Custom-made to fit your teeth and your lifestyle, Invisalign
offers many benefits beyond your brand-new smile:

  • Nearly-invisible aligners mean hardly anyone will notice that you are straightening your teeth.
  • The removable aligners allow you to maintain your dental hygiene, brushing and flossing as usual.
  • You can also remove the aligners briefly to eat, drink or for special occasions.
  • Even before you start treatment you’ll know how long your treatment may take and what your teeth are expected to look like at the end.
What does Invisalign cost?

The cost will dependent on the complexity of your issue and your course of treatment. Dr Malhi will be able to  determine your cost after your first consultation, however to give you an idea, the prices for Invisalign treatment are generally between £2,500 – £4,500. However, if only minor tooth movement is required, prices start from £1,500.
